Here At The End of Time as we have known it and the beginning of a new Time entering the Great Unknown…it is not about focusing on the prophecies of The End but rather the prophecies of New Beginnings, and a New Earth that celebrates all life including the Celestial Realms. When next you find yourself staring into the night sky, consider the raw and elemental world of the ancient Meso-american shaman astrologers, those visionary calendar priests with their feet planted on the earth free of chemical pollution, gazing into a night sky free of the hindrance of air traffic and city lights. Their appreciation for the evolutionary relevance spelled out in the astronomical alignments that graced their skies drove them to transcend their personal needs and fears, to leave behind all that was safe and to leap empty-handed into the abyss of the unknown, to journey to the Center of the Galaxy and retrieve the mysteries of time, explaining the implicit order of the Cosmos for the benefits not only of their own communities but of the Human Race of the future.

Without the gift of their knowledge, passed down through the artifacts and the integrity of their ancestral lineage to be translated by the shaman anthropologist of today, would we even be aware of the portal of opportunity that is now dilating in readiness for rebirth at the end of the calendars? As we look back in awe, so they look forward, to this, our time; for  we live in a the time of prophecy, not a prophecy of salvation and atonement driven by guilt and fear, but one written in the empirical language of the stars and planets, that speaks of a coming synchronization of cosmic influences that will open the portals of time; a prophecy not of the end, but of the beginning.

On November 15th a plasma charged gas plume exploded from the Sun sending out a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) of charged light particles that went to Venus. Venus does not have the protective magnetic field Earth has, so these charged particles had the effect of shearing away some of the atmosphere of Venus. More here.

This is an interesting development when we consider the importance of Venus and her upcoming transit of the Sun on June 5, 2012. (more HERE)

I was inspired to recreate a page from my old Celestial Timings Website on How To Use the Celestial Timings and it also includes an explanation of what is the Sign and Degrees I use for the Celestial Timings. Soon to follow will be a downloadable webinar on how to make the most out of the Celestial Timings especially for those who are just becoming familiar with the astrological language.

You do NOT have to be an astrologer or understand the astrological language to benefit from the Celestial Timings. I do give the astrological information for those who are familiar with it and how to apply that information to their personal chart. The webinar will teach those who are interested in learning that piece how to locate and understand that information but it is not necessary to benefit from engaging the Celestial Timings. Also here is a link to some astronomical definitions that may be helpful with some of the terms used. I haven’t gotten this page shifted over from the old website yet but will do that and expand the offering soon.

December 2011 Week One Overview (8.5 minutes)

December 01, Thursday. Waxing crescent Moon passes 5.6 degrees NNW of Neptune (28 Aquarius 16) at 3:27 am. Illuminating and transmitting the Neptune Mysteries directly toward Earth in ways that  expand our awareness to include the BIG picture. The Aquarian Mysteries are often linked with science and cutting edge technologies that shift our perception of a more limited view of reality. Neptune of course is also located in the Celestial Realms of “All Possibilities” where we have the power to co-creatively dream up our reality.

Venus passes 5.4 degrees S of Pluto (6 Capricorn 16) at 5:51 am. Pluto’s job is to call out the shadow from the depths of our personal and collective fears bringing them fully into our conscious awareness and experience. When we are willing to engage Pluto’s alchemical process it is our courage to transform that guides our journey. When Venus encounters Pluto she is encountering the shadow parts of herself that have prevented her from taking total responsibility for her personal experience so these fears can be alchemically transformed turning the fear into the courage and strength that empowers Venus to trust in her inner wisdom and guidance.

This is a time for engaging whatever fears may still be present in our lives. Ram Dass suggests “inviting your fears to tea” and asking them to share their wisdom or message. When we are willing to face our fears rather than trying to get “rid” of them, or resist them (as what we resist persists), by embracing this part of ourselves without judgment, we gain the energy and power that is contained within the fear. This means we are therefore strengthened in ways that are beyond comprehension as we are now operating with the power of our whole self.

December 02, Friday. The First Quarter Moon (9 Pisces 52) at 1:52 am is illuminating the mysteries of universal love and the qualities of inspired dreaming that capture our imagination. The Piscean mystical dreamers dream their reality into expression. Selflessly, Pisces finds their greatest joy in expressing dedicated compassionate service to all sentient life, while also seeking mystical union with the divine. The next couple of days are excellent for dreaming our most cherished dreams and feeling them as a manifest reality using whatever practices work best for you such as meditating, praying, imaging, dancing, daydreaming, writing, painting, singing or whatever helps connect you with these mystical states that support actively “dreaming the dream onward.”

John Perkins tells us in his book The World Is As You Dream It that the way to understand the collective dream of any culture is to look at it’s accomplishments. What we dream individually affects the cultural dream and the cultural dream affects what we dream individually. During these speeded up times we are being asked to take responsibility for our individual dreams so they are adding to the emerging dream of the New Earth. This is what Carl Jung referred to as “dreaming the dream onward.” (see Nov 6)

Every culture on this planet believes in the incredible power of dreams or comes from a heritage that once believed in this power. Many equate dreams with the latent energy of the seed and embryo. Their beliefs are not unlike Carl Jung’s theory that humanity’s collective unconscious contains the knowledge of all past and future events and dreams are a key for tapping into that vast library of information… http://www.johnperkins.org

The Sun (10 Sagittarius) squares Mars (10 Virgo) at 5:08 am reminding us that Mars will station retrograde January 23 and will begin a new quest on March 3, 2012 when it reaches opposition to the Sun. This Mars Square Sun means Mars is directly overhead when the Sun sets signaling the final synthesis and completion of the current Mars cycle. By next March,  Mars will be rising as the Sun is setting and beginning a new two year quest that includes finding new ways to honor and serve the sacred expression of life.

December 03, Saturday. Waxing Moon passes 5.8 degrees NNW of Uranus (0 Aries 40) at 7:11 pm. This means that even though Uranus is NOT visible without a telescope we can know the general area of where Uranus is hanging out by noting where the waxing Moon is tonight.

Uranus is an initiator and great Awakening Change Agent that is likely to bring unexpected events intended to awaken us to a new point of view that includes a new way of seeing ourselves and the world around us. Uranus in Aries asks what are you committed to living in your life?  And,  what is holding you back? This is especially true for those with planets or angles between 0 and 5 degrees of House Holder Signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn) as you are in a personal Uranus initiation. Revolutionary energies are increasing and Uranus is already boldly creating unexpected shifts and changes designed to support us all in living the life we were born to live. December 04, Sunday. The Sun conjuncts Mercury (11 Sagittarius 51) at 12:52 am and both are very near the fixed star Antares and are also square Mars (11 Virgo 01). Mercury Squares Mars exactly at 3:19 pm.

When retrograde Mercury conjuncts the Sun it represents the source point of a new Mercury incarnation that begins when Mercury turns direct on December 13. The Sun is the source of light and life here on Earth. Mercury oversees the processes of the mind and creative communication. In Sagittarius, and near the Behenian Star Antares also seen as the stargate to the center of our Galaxy, this Timing creates the possibility for sourcing a whole new way of perceiving and communicating in this reality.

Mercury Retrograde is often a time when communication is operating in ways that are unfamiliar so taking time to really listen is more important than ever. It is helpful to remember that what we think someone is saying isn’t necessarily what the other person means. This is especially true during Mercury retrograde. This is why it is so important now to take time to clarify what you think you heard before reaching conclusions that may or may not be true. Said another way, what you heard isn’t necessarily what the person meant to say. Conversely, what you are saying may not be what the other person is hearing. That is why taking time to really listen and reflect is always helpful during a Mercury Retrograde time, along with backing up computers and allowing for technical glitches.

Every year the Sun catches up to Antares, heart of the Scorpion, in its annual cycle. Today is the day and this year Mercury is there too. According to Bernadette Brady’s book on The Fixed Stars, all four of the royal stars (including Regulus, Aldebaran, and Fomalhaut) are linked with their own unique teachings, special powers and successes when we are able to meet their challenges as part of the heroic journey of life. Antares is one of the magical Behenian stars and when it is with the Sun and Mercury it is receiving additional light codes from Source and messenger Mercury makes sure we get the information that is now available.

Antares calls us to live and act authentically with integrity on all levels of life, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. When we are not aligned with our authentic expression Antares creates opportunities (usually quite challenging) for us to see where we are out of alignment creating awareness that supports making choices that are in integrity with our divine design.

For those whose birthday falls on Dec 3, 4 or 5 you were born with the Sun closely conjunct Antares. If your birthday falls between November 26 and December 10 then the Sun was within 6 degrees of this magical Behenian Star meaning its power was amplified at the time you were born and it is one of the stars personally guiding your life.

December 05, Monday. Mercury passes 6.1 degrees NNE of Antares (9 Sagittarius 48) at 1:00 pm (see Dec 4).

Venus (11 Capricorn) trines Mars (11 Virgo) at 7:08 pm. From a Shamanic Astrology perspective planets in trine (or any other aspect for that matter) are not  ”good” or “bad”. Mainstream astrology tends to view trines as “good” because they usually represent signs that are operating from the same element. Virgo, Capricorn and Taurus all operate through the element of earth. However, from an archetypal perspective, signs of the same element may have a very different expression so it is not always easy for these energies to understand each other. For example, Taurus is interested in savoring and enjoying the “Garden of Earthly delights” while Virgo is interested in creating a sacred relationship with the Earth in dedicated service to Spirit. Capricorn on the other hand, is most interested in how to steward the Earth. This is why Capricorn and Virgo are challenged to understand what motivates Taurus. However, Virgo and Capricorn have very different reasons for what motivates them as well…so these archetypes do need time to fully understand  and value each other.

This brings us to the recurrence of the Grand Earth Trine that has been forming in various configurations over the last three months. This Earth Trine includes retrograde Jupiter at 1 Taurus and Pluto at 6.5 degrees of Capricorn. Beginning in August we have had the Moon, Venus, Mercury, Sun and now Mars moving through Virgo recreating different variations of the Grand Earth Trine.

The earth element is what grounds us. Earth can take our brilliant ideas and find a useful form for them, or as in the case of Taurus to fully enjoy them. Ways to connect with the earth element  include being in the present moment as a way of connecting to the sacred, enjoying all aspects of sacred pleasure that also includes a sense of responsible accomplishment. Wearing earthy colors, eating root vegetables, being out in nature, holding or wearing a stone or crystal are all great ways to energize a deeper connection with the earth element.

December 06, Tuesday. The waxing Moon enters Taurus at 6:34 am and passes 5 degrees N of Jupiter (1 Taurus) at 8:36 am. The Moon is joining the Grand Trine passing Jupiter this morning, so will be visible just beyond Jupiter in the evening sky. Jupiter expands and the Moon illuminates the Taurus mysteries of enjoying the Garden of Earthly Delights. (See Dec 5 and 7) See Jupiter Audios

The Sun conjuncts the North Node (14 Sag) with the Great Attractor. See Last Month’s Timings for more extensive information about this. The Sun passes here once each year but the North Node only passes by here every 19 years and has been hanging out with this area of the sky all last month and all this month into next. For those of you who have planets, angles or Nodes near this degree this is especially important for you as the North Node activates aspects of your destiny and what you are attracting into your life at this time. It might be helpful to think back about 18 to 19 years ago to get a sense of what was happening then. (See Dec 27)

For me personally, I am in my nodal return now and 18 years ago when I was in my last Nodal Return was when all the right people, places and information to self-publish The Shamanic Astrology Handbook showed up. I didn’t even have to do any research. It just all fell together in a magical kind of way.  And interestingly the past few months, I have been working on  an updated version to the archetypes part of the Handbook along with creating a new cover for the book that will be ready during this transit hopefully by January of 2012.

It was also around that time about 18 years ago when I first realized I crossed the threshold into knowing I was a Shamanic Astrologer. So another interesting synchronicity for me is I am  now exploring new ways, along with others, to offer these sacred teachings to a wider audience. When I look back 18 to 19 years ago I had no idea I would helping found the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School or be involved in the evolution of this work in the ways that I have been so fortunate to get to do. It’s very exciting to see the new directions and sense of destiny emerging around this work.

December 07, Wednesday. Puppid Velid meteors are mainly visible south of the equator. These are quite faint meteors and with waxing Moon even fainter. However, an occasional bright fireball maybe visible especially toward dawn.

The Moon in Taurus is visible approaching the Pleiades Stargate a place many cultural legends refer to as their origin point. The Pleiades are also an important cross check to the turning of the 26,000 year Great Year that we are currently experiencing. The Mayans were tracking the time when the Sun would conjunct the Pleiades at the zenith point to know when the 26,000 year cycle was ending and a new one was beginning. That time is now. (See May 2011 Archives)

Here is a partial list of various references from many cultures to the Pleiades:

• The Pleiades are mentioned three times in the Bible – twice by name and once by reference – in Job 9:9, again in Job 38:31, and alluded to in Amos 5:8.
• Egypt – Chu and said that they represent the goddess Net or Neith, the “divine mother and lady of heaven”.
• Hebrew – Kimah: a cluster (Hebrew)
• China – Kimah – The Pleiades seem to be the among the first stars mentioned in astronomical literature, appearing in Chinese annals of 2357 B.C. China – The Blossom Stars and Flower Stars
• Maori mythology mentions the Pleiades
• South Africa – Khuseti: the stars of rain, or rain bearers. (Khoikhoi tribe)
• Australian Aboriginal – Pitjantjatjara tribe – Kungkarungkara: the ancestral women. Australian Aboriginal – Adnyamathanha tribe – Makara: The wives of stars in the Orion constellation
• Hindu – The Flames of Agni (the god of Fire): the divinities of fire in its beneficent form and the wet nurses for Kumara, the god of War. Also The General of the Celestial Armies
• Japan – the word for Pleiades translates to ‘Subaru’. Interestingly the insignia logo for ‘Subaru cars is a stylized symbol of the Seven Sisters representing ancient mythology being integrated into modern industry.
• Rome – The Bunch of Grapes and The Spring Virgins
• Old English, Old German, Russian, Czech and Hungarian – The Hen and Chicks
• Greek astronomer Eudoxus of Knidos (c. 400-350 BC) set them apart as a distinct constellation: the Clusterers. Greek sailors were said to consult the skies before setting sail. If the Pleiades were visible, all was well. Otherwise, storm conditions were likely.  They are mentioned by Hesiod, and in Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey.
• Aztec – Tianquiztli: ‘marketplace’ or ‘gathering place’
• Inca – The seed scatterer or sower
• Almost every Native American Tribe has a legend connected to the Pleiades as their place of origin
• Early Dakota stories speak of the Tiyami home of the ancestors as being the Pleiades. Astronomy tells us that the Pleiades rise with the sun in May and that when you die your spirit returns south to the seven sisters.
• The Hopis called the Pleiadians the ‘Chuhukon’, meaning those who cling together. They considered themselves direct descendants of the Pleiadians. Hopi Prophecy and Legend
• The Navajos named the Pleiades the ‘Sparkling Suns’ or the ‘Delyahey’, the home of the ‘Black God’.
• The Iroquois pray to them for happiness.
• The Cree came to Earth from the stars in spirit form first and then became flesh and blood. They believe that Mythic Mountain is actually the home of the Kachinas [Gods]. This mountain top is sacred and the home of the Kachina spirits. The Kachinas come as clouds to bless the Hopi people and their petroglyphs  look like luminous discs of light
• Some Native American tribes believe all the tribes in North America came from the Pleiades and they have been given the task to keep the Earth safe.
• The seven maidens were being pursued by a ferocious bear. Kneeling to pray for help, they called on their gods, who raised the ground lifted them high into the air. Angered, the bear clawed at the earth in a vain attempt to reach them. The bear left huge claw marks in the unyielding earth eventually giving up and retreating. The maidens were turned into stars and placed in the sky forever out of harm’s way. This legend originated in the area now referred to as the Devil’s Tower. Many may remember it was Devil’s Tower that was featured in the movie ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind.’
• Paraguayan – Abiponestribe worshiped the Pleiades as their ancestors.
• Peru -The Pleiades were called Verano – meaning summer, or dry season – possibly in association with the Pleiades ritual at the summer solstice during the dry season.  Pachacuti Yamqui, an Inca nobleman, copied a cosmological star chart around 1613 that seems to depict the Pleiades from a temple in Cusco, adding Spanish and Quechua notations.

Taking time to step out and notice the Moon approaching the Pleiades is a great way to connect with the Pleiades and the light codes they are beaming toward Earth. This is what ancient cultures have done throughout time. It is inspiring to know the various ways other cultures have connected with this star pattern and even more inspiring to create your own connection and experience of the mysteries these and other stars are for you personally!

Sun and North Node are still with the Great Attractor. (see Dec 6)

December 08, Thursday. Today marks the earliest sunset (4:35 pm) for the year for those at 40 degrees N latitude. The date and time for this event varies depending on your location on the planet. For example at 32 degrees N Latitude where I live the earliest sunset of the year is December 4 and the latest sunrise is January 8. The further North a person is from the equator  in the Northern Hemisphere the later in the month this date occurs. Similarly the further south a person is and still in the Northern Hemisphere the earlier this date occurs.

The Moon passes 2.8 degrees S of the Pleiades (29 Taurus) at 6:00 pm and enters Gemini at 6:52 pm  illuminating the mysteries designed to take us beyond the seemingly conventional rules of this reality, and beyond rational and linear thought processes. This is the domain of the coyote trickster whose antics remind us things are not as real as they appear. Passing through the Sacred Hoop over the next few days the Moon will be visible approaching the royal star Aldebaran, the eye of the Bull, tonight. In some cultures Aldebaran was considered the all-seeing “eye of god” and has associations with the restoration of the original perfection of the Earth. This is a great time to tune in and ask for restoration (both personal and collective) – through remembrance – of the divinity that we are and the purity and perfection of our hearts.

December 09, Friday. The waxing Moon passes 5.8 degrees N of Aldebaran, the eye of the Bull, (9 Gemini 49) at 2:00 pm. This is the area of the sky where the June Lunar Eclipse took place. Whenever the Moon crosses an eclipse degree it activates, amplifies and illuminates the eclipse intent from a personal and collective standpoint. (See June 2011 Celestial Timings and December

Uranus (0 Aries 39) stations direct at 11:05 pm. This means if you have a planet or angle near this degree in the householder signs (a.k.a cardinal signs) the Initiation cycle of radical change, either within, without or both that you have been experiencing is either ending or about to end. The initiatory journey of Uranus requires courage and willingness to embrace the unexpected, unpredictable, unknown events surrendering to the Divine Grace that is possible when we let go of the outcome and trust the flow of life is taking us where we are intended to go. This also includes letting go of the old ways that no longer work.

At the station time of any planet it is like a Still Point (see Dec 25), an interesting paradox for Uranus (change agent) in Aries (action oriented archetypal energy) committed to further a noble cause or purpose, as stillness is not necessarily familiar to Aries or Uranus. This is the time to actively tune into the Still Point where all creation exists simultaneously and ask the part of yourself that knows what’s next? If you are NOT 100% committed to your current direction then it is time to consider why? Is fear holding you back? Or do you need a new direction that is more aligned with who you are?

Additional questions to consider especially if you are still discovering what is authentically yours to embrace are:  What is my noble cause or mission? Am I willing to stand for what I believe is just and true? Am I willing to put my wholehearted energy into the causes I feel most passionate about? Do I have the courage and determination to do what it takes to ensure the success of my purpose or mission? What is the new life I am committed to creating for myself? Am I willing to take responsibility for the life I am creating? Am I willing to learn new ways to respond to what life brings my way rather than reacting in the same old ways? (See Dec 3, 22 and 31)

December 10, Saturday. The Gemini Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse (18 Gemini 11) is exact at 6:36 am. A total Lunar Eclipse is an event that collapses the normal nearly 30 day experience of the Moon Phases moving from  Full Moon to Dark of the Moon back to Full Moon in about three to five  hours. Our experience of Time is accelerated so what we are holding in intention is also accelerated. For those of us who live in the United States we will have the opportunity to visually witness most or all of this Total Lunar Eclipse and is a great way to have a condensed experience of the Moon Phases. Albert Einstein is known for changing our concept of Time, time travel, and how we experience the passage of time. He also discovered the connection  between Time and Space, coming up with  the term spacetime.  Spacetime became the basis of the well-known theory of Relativity and how time passes differently for someone on Earth and someone traveling at the speed of light. Many fiction writers (especially Science Fiction) have used this idea of a few hours passing in one reality while years have passed in another. One well known story is Rip Van Winkle who somehow entered a time portal through unusual circumstances that also led him to drink too much alcohol. In essence, Rip took a nap and woke up 20 years later. This reminds us that time is an illusion that responds to our awareness of it. (see December 25)

A total Lunar eclipse creates an accelerated time portal that responds to our intention and attention. It begins with a Full Moon that darkens and then relights in a time lapse photography kind of way. Again having a clear conscious intent for what you desire to accelerate in your life is helpful during a Lunar Eclipse. Otherwise, if you are holding limiting thoughts in your mind, or in fear of limitation and lack that is what will accelerate as a result of the eclipse. This is one of the reasons some cultures were afraid of eclipses and would hide from them. Rather than hiding its better to engage this Timing with awareness and intention.

December 11, Sunday. The still nearly Full Moon passes through the center of the Sacred Hoop and the Galactic Cross entering 0 Cancer at 5:26 am transmitting energies from beyond our galactic realm. The slightly waning Full Moon is rising about an hour or so after sunset illuminating the inter-galactic information and vibrational frequency that is beaming in from beyond the boundaries of our galactic reality. These light codes can further intensify the already speeded up evolutionary process. Releasing attachment to results or what we think it ‘should’ look like, while also trusting the divine flow and evolution of life – even when it doesn’t make logical sense – helps us to integrate these changes with greater ease.

December 12, Monday. 12/12 and the feast of day of Our Lady of Guadalupe the Virgin Saint of Mexico and the South Western United States. On December 9, 1531, she first appeared to Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill and told him that she wanted a church built in her honor on that very hill. When Juan Diego told the Bishop of our Lady’s request, the bishop asked for proof. Juan Diego returned to Our Lady and told her the bishop’s response. Our lady asked Juan Diego to hold out his tilma (cloak). Right there on that cold winter’s day in December she filled his tilma with the roses of summer. When Juan Diego showed the Bishop the roses in his Tilma, they were both astonished to see Our Lady’s image imprinted on his Tilma in addition to the Roses. The bishop was convinced and a beautiful church was built on Tepeyac Hill, one of the most revered places of worship in Mexico.

Images of Our Lady of Guadalupe show her standing in a light portal with stars on her cloak and the Moon under her feet. This suggests she is a Shining One beckoning us to remember our own radiant and shining divine essence. Remembering and acknowledging Our Lady at this time is a great way to connect with this aspect of the Divine Feminine. ( Here is more on this story)

Sigma Hydrid meteors are visible during the period of December 4 to 15 reaching their maximum on December 11 or 12. The radiance for this meteor shower is near the head of the Serpent. The meteor fall rate is about 12 per hour and they tend to move fast or streak across the sky. Due to the still nearly Full Moon these meteors will be harder to see this year

The waning Moon passes the July 1 eclipse degree around 2 am and is visible in the constellation of the Twins tonight. As mentioned before when the Moon passes over an eclipse degree it is illuminating what was set into motion during the eclipse. (See 2011 Eclipse Season Video)

December 13, Tuesday. The Geminids are peaking tonight. This meteor shower was first noted in 1862 as far as any written record goes. It was a weak showing back in 1862 but has intensified in recent years. Several years ago observers recorded an outstanding 110 meteors per hour during a moonless night. The still fairly Full Moon Rising around 8:30 pm will dampen this years showing.

The waning Moon passes 10 degrees SSW of Pollux (23 Cancer 15) at 1:20 am as it exits the Sacred Hoop and enters Leo. The Moon is visible inside the Hoop as it rises between 8:30 and 9 am depending on your horizon line. The Moon in Leo reminds us we are the ones we have been waiting for… we are the radiant and shining ones remembering our divine expression through radical self-love. Genuine, healthy self-love is experienced when we can truly forgive ourselves for any harm or mistakes we may have ever done. This includes letting go of any identification with the victim archetype and the voices of judgment that tell us we are unworthy and undeserving as true self-love is illusive until that happens. Mercury (3 Sagittarius 51) stations direct at 5:43 pm conjunct the fixed star Isidis or Dschubba where the November 23 Solar Eclipse just took place. The eye of the Scorpion (Dshubba), is now experiencing another rare and potent activation with the direct station of Mercury. Messenger Mercury is now at the Still Point (see Dec 25) suggesting this is about exploring and integrating the true essence of the enlightened mind.  The enlightened mind is free of limiting judgments and the need to control or manipulate reality for its own survival. December 14, Wednesday. The waning Moon passes 5.5 degrees SSW of the Beehive Cluster at 2:00 am and is visible half way between the Lion and the Twins. (See Nov 17 CT Archives)

Also today the Sun (22 Sagittarius) is conjunct the Fixed Star Rasalhague (the June 15 Total Lunar Eclipse Degree) marking the crown chakra of the visionary healer known as the Serpent Bearer or Ophiuchuslocated between the Archer and the Scorpion just east of the head of Hercules covering part of the Milky Way. This constellation has been seen by many cultures as a Man holding a large snake, or serpent, sometimes seen as a separate constellation known as Serpens. Rasalhague is known for its desire to heal wounds and is strongly connected to the concept of healing, whether on a personal level or in society as a whole.

Ophiuchus is the infamous constellation that caused a HUGE uproar last January when an astronomer published an article about the 13th Sign. However, the short answer is signs are seasonal and have to do with the seasonal cycle of the Earth and constellations are the backdrop the signs move through. The confusion occurs because the signs have the same names as the constellations so it is difficult for most people to understand they are NOT the same. (For visual explanation see YouTube on why there are NOT 13 signs and why Signs and Constellations are two different things.)

December 15, Thursday. The waning Moon passes 5.6 degrees SSW of Regulus (00 Virgo 00) at 7:00 pm and will be visible beyond Regulus when the Moon rises tonight around 10:30 pm local time depending on your horizon line. Regulus is one of the four royal stars that has ancient associations with Kings. This star has been overlayed by Leo for the last 2160 years. Just a little over two weeks ago the seasonal sign of Virgo began to overlay this important fixed star. Well known astrologer from the last century Dane Rudhyar saw this event as the beginning of a new age even before the Galactic Alignment was even really understood or known. (see Nov 28, 2011)

The name Regulus means King as it was named by Copernicus (1473-1543) who used the word Regulus, as a diminutive of the earlier “Rex” that was derived from the second-century Greek astronomer Ptolemy and the equivalent Greek word Basiliskos (translated as “Little King”).

Regulus is located at the point of what looks like a backward question mark. The curve of stars above Regulus represent the Lion’s head, mane and chest. Astronomers call this star pattern the Sickle. Regulus is a Behenian star lying very close to the ecliptic. The Alchemists considered Behenian Stars to be a source or “root” of astrological power that was magnified whenever one or more of the visible planets including the Sun and Moon were within six degrees. Each Behenian star is connected with a ritual gemstone (granite for Regulus) and plant (mugwort). These stones and plants were used to draw upon the star’s influence for creating talismans.

As one of the four royal stars of ancient times Regulus has also been linked with archangel Raphael, the Watcher of the North and described as a ‘Shining One who Heals’. Raphael is considered a patron of knowledge including the sciences and medicine. He is a protector of travelers and equally known to be charming and fun loving. These are all great additional images to connect with as the Moon passes by Regulus today and will be visible beyond Regulus tonight.

December 16, Friday. The waning Moon passes 7.9 degrees SSW of Mars (15 Virgo 44) at 11:34 pm. The Virgo mysteries are attuned to the patterning of life and the sacred ways of maintaining balance with the seen and unseen worlds around us. When we are attuned with the pattern of our own lives then we are more easily supported by the Source of All that IS. If you are feeling resistance around any of your efforts in the world it can be a message to look more deeply at how you are engaging the world around you. Perhaps what you are attempting to do is not in alignment with your pattern? Or perhaps there is some small but significant part that is not aligned or in integrity with who you are? If that is the case for you, it is helpful to locate that part and listen for the message it has for you. Then the next step is to bring that part into alignment through intention, ceremony, prayer or whatever else works for you.

December 17, Saturday. The Virgo Last Quarter Moon (25 Virgo 44) is at 4:48 pm and heralds the approaching Capricorn New Moon on December 24 at 2 Capricorn 34. The last quarter phase of the Moon cycle is a synthesis point that begins the completion phase or integration process of what has been gained this past month. And with the Sun in Sagittarius approaching the December Solstice, it includes synthesizing what has been gained this past year. Virgo is the archetypal energy most connected to the natural cycles and rhythms of Earth and Sky and the mysteries of Spider Woman, who weaves the web or pattern of life.

Knowing the cycles and seasons and how they are designed to inform our life experience are essential teachings of Spider Woman. She knows when to weave her web, when to wait for what she needs to come to her, when to retrieve what has landed in her web and when to weave a new web. This is about attuning to the natural Timings of life, and working in harmony with the pattern. If your life is operating outside these natural rhythms – then this is the perfect time to tune into the unfolding pattern and see how you can reconnect with the greater patterning in ways that are harmonious and supportive. This is one of three key factors in experiencing greater magic in our lives. (I will share the other two in next year’s Celestial Timings)

December 18, Sunday. The waning Moon passes the September Equinox marker of Zero Libra at 12:06 am illuminating and transmitting the mysteries of conscious equal partnership harmony and balance. And Venus (27 Capricorn 19) squares Saturn (27 Libra 19) at 6:18 am with the Moon catching up to Saturn tomorrow.

Saturn is continuing its journey through Libra until November of 2012. This means we are still in the collective process intended to evolve and even recreate the relationship paradigm. The old unconscious forms of relating are unsustainable and rapidly reaching their end game.  More than ever, co-dependent relationships quickly drain energy, creativity and enthusiasm for life. Healthy relating on the other hand energizes and enhances the creativity of all involved. Healthy relating occurs when each person is taking responsibility for their own experience and includes our relationship to the Earth, to the Celestial Realms and to the ether or invisible conscious energy that surrounds all life.

The ether (aether) or Zero Point Energy (ZOE) infuses all aspects of creation including all the seen and unseen expressions of life. David Wilcock (The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce) writes that there is dramatic scientific evidence that has existed for decades, showing all physical matter is formed by an “aether” of invisible, conscious energy and knowledge. Understanding and working with this energy (something energy healers and Shamans have done for eons of time) can shift our entire relationship to the Earth, to each other and to ourselves. This energy is an endless source that comes from a completely non-electromagnetic field or ZPE considered to be “a source of impossibly grand power having more than enough strength to sustain the existence of all physical matter.” (more on David Wilcock and the quote here)

Tuning into and developing an ever more conscious relationship with this energy source has the power to transform our way of living and how we relate to the concept of energy as well as how we view and relate to life. (See Dec 25)

December 19, Monday.  In ancient Rome December 17 or 19 began the festival of Saturnalia an annual celebration

honoring the god Saturn that lasted around week, sometimes 3 days and sometimes 12 days. Saturn represents the rules or laws (of the culture) and Saturnalia was a time when the rules were overturned.This was when business stopped, executions and military operations were postponed and theoretically a social reversal took place where the masters served the slaves, although that usually happened within certain strict limits. However, the symbolism was clear. It was a time for consciously disrupting the old patterns for the purpose of noting what would be sustained and what new ways would be taken into the next annual cycle.

The waning crescent Moon passes 2.0 degrees SSW of Spica (23 Libra 53) at 4:00 pm and then passes 6.3 degrees SSW of Saturn (27 Libra 27) at 10:19 pm. The Moon and Saturn near Spica (the main fixed star in the constellation of the Virgin Priestess a.k.a Virgo) is a powerful synchronicity with what was once the celebration of Saturnalia. This is the time to be asking what old rules of relating are ready to be released and overturned? What are the new rules for engaging truly conscious equal partnership and relationship that supports the needs of everyone involved?

December 20, Tuesday. The waning Moon enters Scorpio at 2:33 am activating the mysteries of death, rebirth and edgewalking. The concept of edgewalking can be scary as it takes us out of our comfort zones. Some willingly walk the edges of life while others only do so when forced by circumstances. Some loooove edgewalking, others avoid it. In these rapidly changing times it is really helpful to be willing to walk the edges of the old and the new ways, bridging what has been with what is emerging. Embracing the mysteries of death, trusting there is always a rebirth is conscious edgewalking – pushing beyond known edges into unexplored territory where new life and growth occur.

In this window of the December Solstice, at the end and beginning, or edge, of the annual solar cycle completing and a new one beginning is the reminder that now more than ever we are on the edge of the old and new, of what was and what is becoming. Again, it is important to remember that edges are often uncomfortable and even scary because they are unfamiliar and operate in the unknown. However, regardless of how you feel about being on the edge of the old and the new…this is a Timing extremely difficult to ignore.

As we move into the center point of the Solstice window it is time to let go of what no longer serves (allow it to die or to find its new form) and to be willing to embrace the new energies manifesting at this time. This is the time to be a courageous edgewalker and co-creator of the new reality.

Venus enters the sign of Aquarius at 10:26 am. Venus (0 Aquarius 24) squares Jupiter (0 Taurus 24) at 6:19 pm. The divine feminine expression in Aquarius approaching the third gate of power is an interesting combination of innovation and experimenting with cutting edge technologies and ideas that further personal empowerment. The experimental, scientific approach of Aquarius also includes the activation of ALL our DNA including the so called “Junk DNA” (or dormant DNA).

Ancient texts describe the junk DNA as a repository of all the knowledge and records of our lineage and all that is necessary for us to awaken and ascend. Books like The Keys of Enoch suggest that our DNA is literally connected to other dimensions of life and the Unity Grid of Light or Universal Consciousness Grid. Researchers have found that the DNA is actually made of light particles and these light particles instantly communicate with each other even when separated by vast distances.

German researcher Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp has focused his research on biophotonics including the analysis of single photons emitted from living organisms. He found that even the “junk” DNA is giving off photon emissions.  Since light carries information the logical conclusion is the DNA strands, or light particles within the DNA, act as transmitters as well as receivers of information and are in instant communication with each other. Literally our DNA has the ability to instantly communicate with other photons (light particles) even when they are “in a galaxy far far away”, sending and receiving information that not only connects us with the photons in other people, or other life forms, but literally in other realms and dimensions.

Aquarius is the archetypal energy most interested in connecting with the lightbody and the experience of ascension. Venus in Aquarius approaching the third gate (see December 26) and being expanded by Jupiter as Venus explores the leading edge of innovative ways to empower our DNA through light technologies as we remember we are connected to every particle of light through out the many dimensions of creation. Tomorrow marks the exact Winter Solstice and the return of the light in the annual seasonal cycle…so this is great time to consider how we are being guided by the light codes of the Sun and the starry realms as Venus travels through Aquarius and the Moon in Scorpio pushes us to new edges of experience.

December 21, Wednesday. Hannukah begins. The Sun enters Capricorn at 9:30 pm, marking the exact December Solstice moment. Plus, the Sun is also square Uranus. (see Dec 22) Witnessing a Solstice sunrise or sunset is a fabulous way to engage the powerful light codes or energies being beamed in from the Galactic Center via the Sun, the primary source of light and energy for our beloved Earth. (Sunrise is 7:25 am and sunset is 5:18 pm in Tucson, Arizona. The time will vary depending on where you are located.) See YouTube of the December Solstice Sun on the Galactic Cross its about 4 minutes with sky maps etc…

The Sun is the seasonal metronome marking time via the four primary Solar Gates located at the Solstice and Equinox points. Ancient cultures understood the importance of these gateways and aligned with them through ceremonial intent, building monuments in stone to capture these seasonal gates in the Sun’s rising and setting points.

The Sun is the source of light, life, energy, and health as well as letting us know what time it is during the day as it rises and sets and in the year as it reaches the seasonal gateways. It is fascinating to consider how we have been programmed to fear the Sun as the source of skin cancer and aging of the skin increasing the experience of depression for those who avoid the Sun.

Ultimately, the Sun carries vital life force and light information to our bodies (scientifically proven to be our primary source of vitamin D). Research suggests a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes a day of sunlight on our skin and through our eyelids feeds and nourishes the physical body including converting the light into life enhancing Vitamin D as well as other essential nutrients. Plus, sunlight helps to attune (or entrain) our bodies to the light frequencies of planetary ascension. It also aids in dispelling depression when used wisely. One of the greatest things about basking in sunlight is it is a free restorative energy source when used wisely.

At the Winter Solstice the days are shortest (the least amount of light in a day), representing the turning point symbolized by the return of the light and the time when the days begin to lengthen. The solstice window lasts three days (the day before and the day after the exact Solstice) marking a seed point or an intentional choice point, in the annual completion and renewal of the Sun’s yearly cycle.

Additionally, zero Capricorn (or the exact moment of the December Solstice) is now aligned on the Galactic Cross near the Galactic Center where the Sun sits for three days. Said another way, the Sun is on the Cross for three days, symbolizing more than ever a galactic perspective that is outside our fixed experience.

This alignment takes place every 26,000 years and lasts for at least 72 years and it’s probably more likely is that it lasts for at least 144 years. The center point of this alignment occurred in 1998 and continues to influence us for many more years. December Solstice 2012 is not any more special than the December Solstice of the last few years. Many have argued that last year’s total Lunar Eclipse within a few hours of the exact Solstice was more spectacular than next year’s December Solstice 2012. And this year’s December Solstice square to Uranus is also more spectacular, meaning we are definitely already well into the time of prophecy and have been for many years.

This Timing is a portal that has the ability to take us beyond our middle world reality where we have access to the part of our self that knows – an inherent knowing or intelligence that is receiving an acceleration or evolutionary energy via the light codes that are beaming our way from the Galactic Core at this time. It may be subtle. It may reorient your whole perception of reality. It may expand your Earthly and Galactic Consciousness and further activate whatever awakening is already happening for you. It may feel like nothing you have ever felt before. This is about being open and receptive to the incoming heightened light energy.

One way to do this is to be a part of a living ceremony with the intention to align with the evolutionary energies available now. Ceremony is a way to focus intention. It may simply be that all you need to do to focus your intention on this time is to have the intent to be witness to what is taking place. Said another way, a visible or non-visible connection with this celestial alignment through our intention and heartfelt gratitude and appreciation is a ceremony in itself. When we have a sacred intent and then find ways to energize that intent in the world of form we are in the realm of Living Ceremony. Calling in sacred space, setting up an altar, drumming, chanting etc are also ways to engage this time if that helps you to focus your intent and feel like you are participating with this time. It isn’t necessary to do any of these things or anything for that matter. However, sometimes doing these things can help us connect more deeply. Let your heart be your guide.

December 22, Thursday.  The Sun (0 Capricorn 43) squares Uranus (0 Aries 43) at 2:14 pm. This is the closest Uranus square to the Winter Solstice that will happen for 84 years. In 2095 Uranus will be at almost 2 degrees of Aries during the Winter Solstice and in 1927 Uranus was still in the last degree of Pisces. That means this is the closest square of Uranus at the Zero Aries (the Spring Equinox Point) to the exact Winter Solstice alignment from 1927 to 2095. This suggests it is especially important to acknowledge the initiatory energy of Uranus at this seasonal gate.

Uranus is the revolutionary change agent catalyzing unexpected change. Last March Uranus was conjunct the Sun at the Spring Equinox in the closest conjunction since 1927 and closer than the conjunction that will take place in 2095. At that time the first waves of revolution were becoming evident as the people of Tunisia and Egypt and the state of Wisconsin and other countries began taking to the streets. That was the beginning and certainly not the end of the revolutionary energies that will continue to grow and gain momentum over the next few years. The Sun and Uranus at the zero Aries point (Spring Equniox) in March and now square at the December Solstice further fuel the changes already in process. This is creating an additional dislocation of the old hierarchical assemblage point for the purpose of creating greater freedom for all life on planet Earth.  Said another way all the old regimes and control programs are destined to fall.  Aries is willing, and committed, to do what it takes to make sure this happens. Uranus is the great disruptive catalyst producing events of extreme novelty that are beyond human control creating a tidal wave of sweeping innovative and revolutionary change. Uranus in Aries is a magnificent force fueled by the quickly spreading Occupy Movements along with protests around the world. All those involved in the protests are demonstrating through their actions that they are ready for change. They are demanding change and they are saying:  “Bring It On!”

Plus retrograde Jupiter (O Taurus) is trine the Sun (0 Capricorn) entering the Still Point of the Jupiter station direct on December 25. (See Dec 25 for more on the Still Point)

Waning crescent Moon passes 2.7 degrees SSW of Mercury (9 Sagittarius 11) at 7:10 pm and the Moon is 4.2 degrees N of Antares (9 Sagittarius 48) at 8:00 pm. This of course is not visible in the evening sky in the western times zones but the Moon is visible approaching Mercury and Antares in the early morning sky and will be past Antares by tomorrow morning. (See Dec 3 and 23)

December 23, Friday. The Ursid meteors occur from December 17-25 and their peak is December 22 and 23. The maximum rates is about 10 meteors an hour and this year is favorable for seeing them due to the waning Moon.

Mercury passes 6.5 degrees NNE of Antares (9 Sagittarius 48) at 6:00 am visible in the morning sky. Antares as a star linked with the pyramid initiations or the sacred pyramidal geometry that is the basic structure of all life and a structure that our consciousness connects with as we move into new dimensions. Moving beyond three-dimensional reality takes us through the three-dimensional pyramid shaped fields of Light Energy. This is why the ancients saw the pyramids as a gateway to the stars and universal intelligence.

This is because pyramids have the capacity to synthesize space, time, and matter to form the ideal focus for star energy coming to us through light coded transmissions. When our physical sacred geometry is awake and we are engaging it with our awareness,  it is easier to receive and experience the stellar and celestial transmissions as they activate what is already encoded within our DNA. One way to do this is through intent and when you get a chance to hang out with the sky it is even better. (See December 4 and 25)

December 24, Saturday. The Capricorn New Moon (2 Capricorn 34) is exact at 10:06 am. The Moon passes Pluto (7 Capricorn 05) at 5:42 pm energizing this New Moon window with the power to continue to transform the old shadowed structures of this reality that are no longer working while reconnecting to the wisdom and insights of  the Ancient Ones, The Great Shining One, the Wise Ones, the Elders, the ones who know how to act in accordance with the laws of this world that promote balanced living with the Earth. These mysteries have been lost or ignored for far too long. It is clear that the old structures are crumbling and will continue to do so as Pluto transits through Capricorn up through most of 2024.

It is imperative we face these old forms and shadow issues so we can transform them, thereby empowering humanity and our relationship with the Earth. It is helpful to ask for assistance from the wisdom of our Higher Selves (ancient and future) that already knows what needs to be done and knows how to do it.

December 25, Sunday. Merry Christmas celebrating the Christ consciousness we all carry.  Jupiter (0 Taurus 22) stations direct at 2:09 pm having entered the Still Point reversing direction back to forward motion from the Earth’s perspective. The station of any planet creates a Still Point. The Still Point accesses the singularity from where all creation arises. The definition of singularity in this case is a point of infinity. (There are other definitions of singularity but that is not what is being referred to here.)

In astronomy the word singularity is used to describe the center of a black whole or the BIG Bang where theoretically the density is infinite because the finite mass has been compressed to a zero volume. Zero volume is connected to Zero Point Energy (ZPE). It was sometime in the mid-1960s when quantum physicists identified the Zero Point Field as the omnipresent energetic underlying structure (infused through out manifest reality) that is traveling faster than the speed of light.  Returning to the Big Bang theory it is thought that the properties of the universe at the time of the Big Bang, had both the density and the temperature to go to infinity (ZPE) creating a singularity or ‘event horizon’.

The event horizon represents a boundary in spacetime that is beyond what an outside observer can view with accuracy. It is also referred to as “the point of no return” where the gravitational pull of the black hole (or some other great celestial object like the Great Attractor  is so strong – escape is impossible. (see Dec 27) In the case of a black hole any light emitted from beyond the event horizon never reaches the observer.

Additionally, from the place of the observer, any object approaching the event horizon appears to slow down never quite passing through. Researchers find the light on this side of the event horizon  the object being observed appears to redshift or a lengthen its wavelength to the red spectrum as time elapses. Even more fascinating is the traveling light or object apparently does not experience the slowing of time and as it passes through the event horizon. This means the observer and the observed are having a totally different experience.

The event horizon that created our Universe is connected to the Still Point or ZPE and whenever planets station retrograde or direct they are in effect (symbolically) accessing the Still Point where everything exists and nothing is yet manifest. Thus the event or station direct or retrograde of a planet (from the Earth’s perspective) opens a portal to the field of all possibilities or as described earlier the Still Point.

The archetypal mysteries of Taurus includes savoring and enjoying the present moment for as long as possible suggesting the station direct of Jupiter is a wonderful Still Point window of opportunity lasting about two weeks before and after the station point. The way to gain maximum benefit with this station point is to really BE in the moment and to fully enjoy and savor this Still Point time.

December 26, Monday. Kwanzaa. The waxing Moon moves into Aquarius at 9:14 am and then passes 6.1 degrees NNW of Venus (8 Aquarius 04) at 11:33 pm marking the passage of Venus/Inanna through the Third gate out of the underworld when she retrieves her golden belt symbolizing right use of her personal power or third chakra issues. Anyone born in an eight year (8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96, 104 etc) from Nov 10, 2010 to June 11, 2012 is in their personal 8 year synodic Venus return so this timing is an especially important ceremonial gateway to engage with the intent to strengthen your personal reclamation of these energies.

The third chakra vestment is sometimes depicted as a golden waist belt or golden ring of power. This means Venus is retrieving a healthy relationship to her personal power and the ways she expresses it. Healthy use of personal power comes from strong inner direction and is not interested in power over others or in giving power away, but rather healthy use of personal power is directed toward fulfilling life purpose within the context of a person’s unique divine design.

Retrieval of this vestment represents Venus regaining her ability to clearly discern the purpose of her life while also making healthy decisions from an empowered place so she can easily live a fulfilling life. This is a time to ceremonially connect with intention to have a healthy 3^rd chakra experience, committing to doing whatever it takes to live  from a strong sense of purpose and belonging, with healthy boundaries and an ability to creatively accomplish life tasks in ways that increase enjoyment.

December 27, Tuesday. Mercury conjuncts the North Node and the Great Attractor (14 Sag) for the  third time due to the recent Mercury Retrograde around 6:30 am. Mercury has been hanging out with the North Node and the Great Attractor within 6 degrees starting on November 8 and made its first exact pass on November 13 and 14, its second pass on December 2 and today marks the final pass. (See Dec 2, 4 and 6)

The North Node only passes by this area of the sky about every 19 years. Mercury retrogrades in this area of the sky every 6 to 7 years.  The last time this occurred was in Nov/Dec 2004 and the next time will be December 2017 and it is really close in 2018. Then it happens again December of 2024 but the North Node is not in Sagittarius at that time. In 2030 the North Node is back in Sagittarius around 7 degrees in December and the Mercury Retrograde comes back to 15 degrees of Sagittarius so this is the closest approximation of what we have this year but still not nearly as precise.

Mercury as transformational messenger when retrograde is accessing even deeper messages of truth, that when aligned with the North Node or the symbol for humanity’s destiny, has the potential to bring even deeper messages and understanding of the truth of who we are as has crossed these points three times over the last two months.

You may recall from the November Timings that the Great Attractor is a huge energetic force drawing local galaxies, including ours, toward it at a million miles per hour. It is consider a super cluster of Galaxies operating at a scale beyond human comprehension and is pulling our Milky Way Galaxy in its direction at an incomprehensible rate of speed. Tuning into the Great Attractor energy expands our awareness to include forces beyond our Galaxy that are having an influence here in our tiny part of the Universe.

Tuning in might include considering how the Great Attractor has a similar influence as a fixed star but again it is far far away from our galaxy and far bigger than a star, plus unlike a star it doesn’t emit light. It absorbs it. So when Mercury (the mind) and the North Node (the point of destiny) are hanging out with this area of the sky it symbolizes how we are all attracting experiences, insights, knowledge, understanding and wisdom based on how we attune our thoughts, feelings, and actions, or said another way, by what we think feel say and do. Sometimes the only real choice we seemingly have is how we respond, or react, to the events occurring around us. Taking time to pause and consider – and then choosing new responses, healthier responses,  to whatever is happening is a great way to create a whole new timeline of experience that often wondrously exceeds whatever we are imaging is possible.

December 28, Wednesday.  The waxing crescent Moon passes 5.6 degrees NNW of Neptune (28 Aquarius 48) at 1:31 pm and Chiron (1 Pisces 46) at 7:05 pm. Sun conjuncts Pluto (7 Capricorn 14) at 11:43 pm  (see December 29) illuminating the shadow and anything that is not in alignment with the intended alchemical transformation now underway. The Sun with Pluto is the ultimate symbol for bringing the shadow to light. Carolyn Myss has a great description of this process in her book Anatomy of the Spirit.

In seeking union with the Divine, we are asking to have all physical, psychological, and emotional “illusion” removed from our lives. Once this process of removal begins, we awaken an internal voice of authority in our lives which can throw us into internal turmoil….

The reason for this is anything that is not of our true essence and purpose comes to light to get cleared. It is actually a gift but can feel devastating and difficult when we resist the changes that are needed to help us realign with our true purpose and desire to align with the divine force guiding our lives.

December 29, Thursday. The Sun conjuncted Pluto (7 Capricorn 14) just before mid-night last night Pacific Time or at 2:41 am Eastern time today, seeding a new cycle of Pluto (similar to a New Moon) for the coming year. The Sun is illuminating Pluto and the mysteries of death and rebirth. Clearly the disintegration of the current world structures are continuing to dissolve much like the dissolution of the caterpillar in the process of becoming a Butterfly. The planetary initiation we are experiencing is no less spectacular. Our beloved Earth is transforming and ascending into a whole new vibration. Just as the butterfly no longer relates to life as a caterpillar and flies off to embrace a whole new adventure – so shall we.

December 30, Friday. Tomorrow night Mercury is crossing the degree of its Retrograde station (20 Sagittarius) that occurred on November 23. This closes the window that was opened when Mercury first crossed the degree of its station direct (3 Sag) on November 5. The Mercury Retrograde phase last about 20 days but the effects are usually felt when Mercury first crosses the degree of the direct station, in this case 3 Sagittarius and lasts until it crosses the degree of the retrograde station, in this case 20 Sagittarius. The window of this Mercury retrograde then began Nov 5 and lasted until now. As Mercury crosses this degree it represents a full speed ahead time in regards to issues of communication in all its many forms including spoken and written or creative expressions such as painting, music, dance, and other forms of artistic expression just in time to creatively bring in a New Year.

December 31, Saturday. New Years Eve. The waxing crescent Moon passes 5.7 degrees NNW of Uranus (0 Aries 50) at 3:28 am. Mercury (20 Sagittarius 10) squares Mars (20 Virgo 10) at 10:06 pm and the First Quarter Moon (10 Aries 13) is at 10:15 pm. These celestial events -  especially the Moon with Uranus – are setting the tone of revolution and change for the coming year. Uranus is still within the window of the Spring Equinox point of zero Aries (see December 22) and the Moon is amplifying and transmitting from the archetypal realm of Aries.

The healthy Aries Warrior is 100% all in or fully committed to the cause they most believe is worthy, just and true. As Mercury passes the final degree of its retrograde station in square to Mars, a huge activating force for the Truth (divine truth, not humanity’s version of the truth), the intent is the messages of the truth be transmitted through the Warrior Priest energy of Mars as he receives the deeper Truth of his mission and purpose from messenger Mercury.

Also … Around mid-night local time every year on New Year’s eve the triple star Sirius is directly overhead beaming the light codes of this powerful star directly down toward Earth. Sirius is the brightest fixed star in our sky and there is a lot of myth and legend connected to this important star. When Sirius reaches the zenith at mid-night it is sending Earth a magnificent download of Sirian light energy just as humanity is embracing another Gregorian Calendar year. Being aware of the light code transmission from Sirius as it infuses the Earth’s magnetic grid with actively radiant divine energy helps to further inspire and awaken humanity to greater love and understanding when we are open to receiving this infusion.

Sirius is also linked with the archetypal mysteries of Freedom that are interwoven into human consciousness. Many countries celebrate their Solar Return Birthday around the Time Sirius is conjunct the Sun. This happens about six months from the Gregorian New Year in the early days of July. Interestingly, Canada celebrates their independence on July 1, the USA Independence day is July 4, Venezuela celebrates their independence on July 5, Argentina on July 9 and the French celebrate their independence day on July 14. Independence, freedom, and the awareness to consciously direct our own lives free of limiting beliefs that hold us back are some of the ways to engage this Timings.

Early January is the time of year when the Sun is opposite Sirius illuminating these mysteries much like a Full Moon effect. Celebrating the light energy coming in from this Star on New Year’s is a great way to add another dimension to an otherwise seemingly insignificant date arbitrarily chosen as the Gregorian Calendar New Year. In actuality New Year’s day was purposely disconnected from the Winter Solstice by about 10 days. However, at this time for a period of at least 144 years Sirius is overhead on January 1.

Recent findings reveal we are “downstream” from Sirius in the part of the galactic arm our solar system resides in. If God is the bringer of life (energy) and light, Sirius fits the description — it transmits its energy (highly charged particles) to our entire system via the magnetic field lines.
