Khambalia marks the foot of the Virgin Priestess and is known as the keeper of secret knowledge accessed through transcendental states of awareness.

Whenever a planet is near Khambalia we have greater access to the secrets of transformation through death and rebirth carried deep within our DNA.

Khambalia was thought to be a doorway into Shambhala (Khambalia being a similar word to Shambhala) – a Sanskrit term meaning place of peace/tranquility/happiness – a mythical land that will return when we again enter Sat Yuga.

In his book The Living Stars Eric Morse says:

“The name (Khambalia) has its roots in old Coptic and means ‘Crooked Claw’… The word Shambala has a similar root and meaning; so has the pentagram, so has the Arabic word for five, Khamsa, may well also derive from the same piece of mystique. Khamr, wine, also has a connection, being so often a symbol for ‘the secret of life’, ‘the spirit’, as well as a means to enter a transcendental (or just inebriated) state of consciousness.”

Khambalia as the ‘crooked-clawed’ suggests it is linked with a version of the swastika symbol – before it was co-opted by Hitler – indicating the ability to go deeply into the secrets of life.

How are you accessing the ancient knowledge within you to further support the fulfillment of your greater divine purpose and intent?

When the Sun (or any planet) passes by Khambalia we are receiving a transmission from this star of Secret Knowledge. The root word of Khambalia is linked with the word Shamballah the place used to describe Heaven on Earth.

The Sun is considered a doorway into the mysteries and so is opening the door to the mysteries of Shambala. The song from  Three Dog Night – Shambala (see video and words below) is a great theme song to work with when tuning into Khambalia and Shambala reminding us to ask
“How Does Your Light Shine in the Halls of Shambala”?

Wash away my troubles, wash away my pain
With the rain in Shambala
Wash away my sorrow, wash away my shame
With the rain in Shambala
Ah, ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Everyone is helpful, everyone is kind
On the road to Shambala
Everyone is lucky, everyone is so kind
On the road to Shambala
Ah, ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala
I can tell my sister by the flowers in her eyes
On the road to Shambala
I can tell my brother by the flowers in her eyes
On the road to Shambala
Ah, ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala
