Happy September Equinox!

We are rapidly returning to the balance of Day and Night and the season of Fall or Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern Hemisphere.  

As September begins I am aware

Yesterday when I was putting together my newsletter for September I had a WOW moment realizing all the flooding happening now is connected to Sirius Heliacal Rise (a.k.a. Morning Star Rise).

To the Ancient Egyptians, Sirius rising as morning star marked the Flooding of the Nile and the renewal of the land. Mars is with Sirius and has been for the last few days. Mars will be exact on September 4 with the Moon joining them on September 6. Mars stays in Range of Sirius until September 13 amplifying the Star Magic of Sirius as a bringer of life.

Tucson (where I live) is experiencing an unusual amount of rain with flash flooding in the dry washes. The Grand Canyon has been closed due to flash flooding with at least 2 dead and at least 15 people missing.

India, Nepal and China just to name the ones I know about, are currently experiencing severe, catastrophic flash floods. Many lives have already been lost. Many are still not accounted for and more flooding is expected. The land in Nepal and China is being restructured as glaciers melt and collapse.

I am doing my best to imagine this is a divine cleansing that is on track to bring regeneration and renewal of the land.

Many mythic stories across the world view floods as representing a cosmic reset as the water washes away stagnant energy to make room for a fresh start.

I posted on Facebook images of the intensity of the Canada del Oro wash near where I live. It was a rushing raging river from bank to bank. It was rushing so intensely it was creating rapids.

Floods carry deep spiritual significance as powerful symbols of divine cleansing, emotional overwhelm, and ultimate renewal across many cultures and religions.

In September I usually honor my mother’s passing and how her birthday was September 6 and this year would have been her 93rd birthday. She passed in 1998 at the age of 64 just 19 days before she would have turned 65. I have now outlived her by nearly 6 years and have I ever learned a lot from her. Discernment and Judgment is something I wrote when I was inspired by a long time family situation (pattern) that goes back to my childhood and through the ancestral line but was activated in unexpected ways when Pluto was square my Venus back in 2021. 

I am inspired to share it as I got a lot of great feedback saying how helpful it was when I shared it on Facebook and in my newsletter.

I got really great feedback on  my original post and it seems timely to continue to share this here.

I find I am noticing how my inner judge is judging me for reacting to being judged or feeling like I am being judged by others.

My inner warrior feels the injustice of someone assuming what my thoughts and feelings are and being unwilling to consider what they think is going on for me – might not be true. It is a life long pattern that continues to linger despite the personal work I have done. Grrr….

I am currently aware of how my inner judger is judging the whole situation so I can become more aware of how I judge myself and then I can disrupt this pattern and act from discerning choices – not judgey ones.

I am practicing discernment. This includes discerning what is best for me and all involved.

Choosing not from a place of judgment (self judgement or otherwise) – you are wrong, this is wrong, what is happening is wrong…

But rather choosing based on the best choice for myself and all involved given the current circumstances.

First I need to process my anger about feeling unfairly judged so my choice is not rooted in anger and reaction.

It’s not easy and it’s not fun but it does make all the difference in what comes next as I continue to cultivate the super conductive power of love within me.

Because ultimately I know this is about me and no one else. Of course, I would love for it to be about something outside of me, but I do know the reality is – it is always an inside job.😇
