I find myself moving toward the end of a long Pluto Cycle, featuring Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter also guiding me at this time. I am feeling Pluto gifts more strongly even as I still navigate all the ways I am being required to say NO to ways that are disempowering and take a healthy stand for myself. I am also noting how I am feeling about myself and the circumstances of the world that surround me giving myself permission to feel the grief, the loss, the anger, the rage and the uncertainity that scares me.
This also includes saying YES to what lights me up and is adding to the alchemy already changing my life in wonderfully empowering ways.
I share this – as my hope is everyone seeing this is recognizing the alchemy happening for you and even though it may require you letting go of an old identity, a way of being, a kind of work you have done for a long time – maybe even decades – a relationship and/or way of relating, or something else, the empowerment on the other side is so worth it!
Especially once you get through the grief. Pluto does ask us to be with our grief so we can move through it and not just repress or suppress it. I am still in that process and am wiling to take the time it takes.
Meanwhile Peter and I are about to celebrate our 17 year wedding anniversary on Oct 22 and even though Pluto is affecting us both our marriage is better than ever. Everyday we are celebrating how much we love sharing our growing love and appreciation for what we are co-creating. It is so Libra….

The Tenth Insight by James Redfield
One of the gifts of attuning to the intent of our natal chart is how it reflects or shows the power of intention and the choice to end the cycles of abuse and dysfunction by choosing family and social conditions that are entrenched in old limiting and abusive patterns. When these patterns are transformed then new healthy energies can grow. In essence, it has the power to change everything going forward. This is the Alchemy of Pluto. First by experiencing the disempowered patterns and then transforming.
It is time to remember why we are here and why we have chosen the circumstances we have, forgiving ourselves and those involved.
This is especially true when we consider the current transit of the Shamanic Healer Chiron through Aries (archetypally linked with restoring cosmic justice) and the Shamanic Powerhouse Pluto in Capricorn transforming the old structures of our external reality that are punishing, shaming, and operating within the restrictive and limiting rules of the dominator culture.
As Pluto begins to wrap up its long journey through Capricorn (since 2008) we have an additional opportunity to not only heal both the dysfunctional family and social systems we have inherited but to consciously create new healthy forms based in love and cooperation that will not only sustain life on this planet but will support a thriving experience for all.

Venus enters Virgo with Regulus visible in the morning sky. Regulus marks the heart of the lion, and the gateway into the mysteries of the Sphinx. Esoterically the Sphinx is also known as the guardian to the Hall of Records. Tuning into this area of the sky is an opportunity to have a direct experience of our personal and collective records (what is encoded in our DNA) direct experience where the greatest meaning occurs for us personally.

Oct 18, 2023, Wednesday. Sun 24˚ Libra 53’ is with Mercury and the South Node further illuminating the Eclipse energy already in motion. The Sun is the Source of Light and Life for our planet so from the Earth’s perspective it is time to source new perspectives, new ways of communicating and new ways of creatively expressing in partnership with life while letting go of anything in the way of that.
October 20, Friday. The Sun zodiacally conjuncts Izar 28 Libra in the constellation of Boötes the Herdsman, protector of all creatures. Once each year at this time the Sun passes by this area of the sky creating an opportunity to tune into Izar’s mysteries and listen for the message this star has for us.
Izar was a star revered by many ancient cultures as the place where their ancestors originated. It has also been seen as a source of life, and those with strong connections to Izar generally have a keen interest in humanity’s origins (meaning if you have planets or angles between 22 to 30 degrees of Libra and even the first 4 degrees of Scorpio). There is also a protective nature about Izar and the constellation of Boötes in general. The herdsman sees to the safety of his herd and the task of moving it successfully into the future.

Oct 23, 2023, Saturday. Sun enters Scorpio at 9:20 am activating the mysteries of death and rebirth, regeneration and the mysteries of edgewalking until Nov 22 when the Sun enters Sagittarius.
What exactly is edgewalking? William Irwin Thompson describes edges as the place where things change, grow and evolve in his book The Time Falling Bodies Take to Light.
New growth appears on the edges of branches and stems so hanging out on the edges is where growth happens.
It does take courage and an ability to trust the process to be a successful Edgewalker – to be willing to die to the old and willing to explore beyond the edges of what is known and what is familiar. It also requires the release of attachments to what has been and embracing what is becoming birthing into the power and magic of who we truly are.
October 31, Thursday. Eve of All Saint’s Day – Halloween a.k.a Hallowmas or All Hallows Eve. Hallow in middle English means holy and Halloween means hallowed evening or Holy Night. There was a time when Halloween was not a set date on the Calendar but rather it was celebrated on the Full Moon nearest the exact astrological cross-quarter when the Sun reaches 15 Scorpio now occurring on November 7.
In Celtic traditions this time was known as Samhain (pronounced sow-in…sow is the same as wow) and was their New Year celebration. The cross-quarter between the Autumnal Equinox and the Winter Solstice is when the veil between the worlds is thinnest.
Usually this is thought of as the veil between the living and the dead, however, more and more people are experiencing this as the veil between alternate realities and timelines. Approaching this holy time with reverence and clear intent is highly recommended.
