You are here to enable the divine purpose
of the universe to unfold.
That is how important you are!
Eckhart Tolle author of The Power of Now.
Jupiter, Venus and Sirius are in Zodiacal Alignment exact on August 11 but very close for a week before and after the exact alignment. This is worthy of our intention and attention, by imagining what’s next? What’s worthy of our attention? How are we creating a loving, kind caring world that benefits all life?
Asking questions inspires answers.
Holy Grail
In one of the tellings around the Quest for the Holy Grail as told by Chretien de Troyes written around 1185 A. D. Perceval sets out to return to the house of his mother after becoming a knight of the round table. He comes upon a wounded fisherman who invites him to stay at his castle. During the evening feast Perceval notices on several occasions a damsel passing through the hall carrying the grail.
Perceval longs to ask: “Whom does the Grail serve?” He has other questions as well but hesitates to ask them due to his training that strongly discouraged him from asking questions because it was impolite. Later Perceval learns that his host had actually been a king, the wounded fisherking and if he had asked the questions burning in his heart especially the question “Whom does the Grail serve?” he would have restored the fisherking and freed the land from a terrible barrenness.
He also learns his mother has died and so now his quest changes. He must again find the castle and the Grail and ask the question that will heal the land. (sourced from The Grail Castle by Kenneth Johnson and Marguerite Elsbeth)
In the opening quote above from James Redfield and in the grail story the indication is around the importance of asking the questions that will serve to further our own life quest. The Celestial Timings are intended to inspire your own questions and your own direct connection to the mysteries, and are therefore not intended to be predictive, but rather they provide suggestions on how these energies might possibly manifest.
How we choose to participate, or not, is an important determining factor in what our personal experience will be. From my own personal experience and the testimony of many others, consciously attuning to these mysteries does produce experiences of increased inspiration, insight and synchronicity.
August 15 is the Feast Day Celebration of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. This day was chosen as a holy day because it was originally connected to ancient Virgin cults that preceded the story of the Virgin Mary. The original meaning of virgin meant not married or whole unto one’s self – very different than today’s understanding. Some speculate this day was chosen because of the sunrise location 72 degrees North of East at certain northern latitudes occurring around August 15.
In The Secret Architecture of Our Nation’s Capitol, The Masons and the Building of Washington, D.C. David Ovason concluded that George Washington, L’Enfant and Ellicot (the designers of Washington DC) sought to align the primary buildings with certain stars knowing the powerful combination of the celestial and earthly alignments (As Above, So Below) would affect its Destiny.

August Sky
The Archer (a.k.a Sagittarius) and the Scorpion are two prominent constellations worth checking out during the summer months in the Northern Hemisphere.
The Archer is shaped like a bow and arrow though many current day star maps show it as a Tea Pot. The archer is aiming its bow directly at Galactic Center and also points to Antares, the heart of the Scorpion. Centaurus (a.k.a. the Shaman Centaur) is the constellation located below the Scorpion and is only visible in latitudes further south. If you are around 32 degrees north the top half of the Centaur is visible. If you are in Hawaii the entire Centaur is visible in the evening sky this time of year.
The Scorpion is one of the largest constellations in the sky and with its curved tail clearly looks exactly like a Scorpion in mid-northern latitudes. In Hawaii however this constellation rises up looking like a fish hook and so the native Hawaiians call this constellation Maui’s Fish Hook. This sky lore describes how Maui (a demigod) used the fish hook of the stars to pull the Hawaiian Islands out of the ocean. The red Star above the fish hook is Antares.
The constellation Lyra (visible from April to October) is thought to be the Harp or Lyre of Orpheus who was the musician that entertained the Argonauts in their search for the Golden Fleece. Hermes is also credited with inventing the Lyre and then giving it to Orpheus. This is a dim constellation though the 5th brightest star in the sky, Vega is located here. Vega was the pole star 13,000 years ago and will be the pole star again in 13,000 years. Vega is also one of the three bright stars marking the summer triangle. Lyra is the radiant, or origin point, for the Lyrids meteor shower which occurs every year
